- INSTALLER
We are seeking an installation crew member to join our team and help us install our shelving and storage products across Oregon and SW Washington.

Objectives of this Role
-
- Install the complete range of products sold and maintain knowledge of all product lines.
- Work safely, following OSHA protocols; wears required PPE
- Prepare and maintain the job site, including safety compliance, trash removal and work area cleanliness.
- Inspect materials on arrival for damage, shortages, quality issues.
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and prepare for the next project installation.
Key Factors for Ideal Candidate
- Basic knowledge of building construction, remodeling, installation or related fields.
- Have some mechanical/technical aptitude and math skills.
- Able to read blueprints or shop drawings, parts lists and engineering documents.
- Good organizational and follow-through skills.
- Punctual, dependable, and can maintain a professional, clean image.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Available to travel overnight, as needed, across Oregon and SW Washington.

You are smart and passionate about finding opportunities and you have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Winning is very important to you but doing so in the right manner is most important. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events and trade shows, it’s essential that our sales rep be personable and professional.
Job Expectations:
Hard work of course. But apart from that, we will ask you to participate in new customer prospecting, growing existing accounts, setting appointments, LISTENING to your prospects, creating solutions, developing proposals, and closing business. All of this will be accomplished by you and a strong existing support team with over 30 years of experience in these markets. You will be expected to learn about our variety of product offerings and how those may fit the needs of your clients.
Objectives of this Role:
- Maintain and grow working relationships in the assigned markets to ensure exceptional service and identify new or additional points of contact in these markets.
- Develop expansive knowledge of solutions and be prepared to educate clients on how we can help.
- Develop an understanding of the markets to be able to identify best methods for selling. Be able to contribute to projecting sales activity and trends.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle from lead to close.
- Accurately analyze client spaces, including field measurements and required capacities. Work with our project design team to create layouts and proposals.
Key Factors for Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in long cycle, high dollar projects
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Patience to see sales cycle through slow planning process often 6-18 months or longer
- Must enjoy client outreach and relationship building
- Willingness to make prospecting and follow up sales calls via telephone, email and in person
- Strong work ethic including ability to work unsupervised
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software and/or sales management software
- Mechanical/Technical aptitude a plus
- Construction industry familiarity a plus
- Personal integrity
This position is a full-time and, other than appointments and networking events, on-premise in our offices in Tualatin, Oregon. Typical office hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Salary is contingent on experience. Base salary plus commission.
